  1. Thoroughbred trainer Bruce Levine repeatedly drugged my horse, vet confirmed, and it resulted in a broken knee. Horse was forced to train on excessive amounts of pain-killers and clenbuterol. Despite NINE verified violations of NY rules…..racing officials won’t do a thing! I am glad someone with authority stepped-up to secure justice for this standardbred — many, many more cases of abuse exist behind the security gates at racetracks.

  2. Corruption is pervasive throughout the business and horses are abused and drugged. It is obvious nothing will be done from within the system so the only hope is for outside intervention and the establishment of a national racing commission with uniform rules, ETC.

  3. FINALLY – the right thing is done …. those people are criminals – so treat them as criminals !
More news like this, please !

  4. Is there any information regarding the whereabouts of the Standardbred he abused? Did the authorities seize the gelding? I am very concerned about him.

  5. SHAME ON THE TRAINERS,OWNERS,RACING COMMISSION AND THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA FOR THIS HORRENDOUS DISGRACE…THEY ARE BEING ABUSED, MURDERED OR DUMPED ON AUCTIONS TO BE SOLD TO KILLERS AND BE TORTURED AND ABUSED BEFORE THEY ARE PAINFULLY TORTURED BEFORE BEING SLAUGHTERED THEYAY
